My day has been wonderful! I text a friend I miss greatly and he answered back. He said he thought about calling me this week. He's the previous youth ministry leader. I informed him of the last few months and that I stepped down out of the youth ministry. I told him I never heard back from the current youth leader. My friend apologized and asked if I was seeking help. I told him I haven't overdosed or cut in awhile, but some people know.
Oddly enough, the temptation to cut flashed in my mind. I pushed it out, but not as quickly as I should have. I briefly thought about the rush and relief it gives me. I can't go back to that!
